Provence diary: day 2

The second day was even better than the first one. After visit of the best place in the world-La Cure Gourmande and many tastings of heavenly sweet-stuff we ascended to city tower. Spiral staircase seemed like neverending story and after it I felt kinda dizzy. But the view was amazing. Than we went to the walls and walked around whole city. We didn't have much time so we had to hurry but I was in time to take a lot of pictures of rooftops.

In St. Rémy, there is the madhouse where stayed Vincent van Gogh. He painted many pictures there. It was really so peaceful place. I think it was because of the flowers and blooming trees but it has also some special aura.

Les Baux is little town with only 5oo inhabitants but there were the most kind and nice people I've met during my Easter holidays. I don't no if it was just because of business but it was so nice to talk them in French.

Hope your week has been good to you and that May brings you all the hapiness and peace you deserve. ♥

XOXO JANIE
